Saratoga Springs

Water whimpers up under rock bed breaks.
Breaks work wet withers, horseback browns.
Browned with Eskimo sun, sympathetic shrivel.
Shriveled raisin skins stammer out their last steam-breaths.
Breaths worked wetly, wasting under didactic corona.
In the creeping iris twists an eyeworm, slow fistula forming in its crawled path.
