Careful, before it snaps

wishfully awkward it smiles an anthem
cordial notes in stark tones and ridges
arcs and intervals, cuts, chords, twisted
snarls of sound

carefully carving undertones, cavern
faces distended warped and lifted
forward arrows arguing in steel
clangs and klaxon echoes

warped shivs unbend and clash
in corrugated rhythm unknown
edges force concaves shunt long
wavelengths deep in syncopated
lungthuds
